
Quantities are for 1 serving.
Ingredients
- ½ large banana (or one small)
- ½ cup organic frozen mixed berries
- Small handful of fresh mint leaves
- A few baby spinach leaves and/or 1 heaped teaspoon of Organic Greens powder
- 1/3 cup preservative free coconut cream
- 1 cup cold filtered water
- 1 egg white (or another natural protein source e.g. 1 tablespoon of almond butter or chia seed)
Method
Blend all the ingredients together in a high-powered blender.
Tips
- If you need it sweeter add 1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup or raw honey
- To make a chocolate version, replace the mixed berried with ½ tablespoon raw cacao powder.
- ¼ of an avocado added to the smoothie helps make it even creamier and you have the bonus of more good fat.
